Putting Colic Calm in Baby's Bottle

I'm not the authority on how to use Colic Calm so you should really check the instructions on the official site, but I can tell you what I would do as far as putting it in the bottle since so many of you have asked.

The instructions for Colic Calm say when the baby gets colicky --

fill provided measured oral dispenser up to 1/2 teaspoon and dispense slowly into mouth between cheek and gums

If you know your child enjoys the taste you could just put that amount in their bottle and let them have at it.

Not much to put in a bottle though really :(

If you feel the need to mix it, or your baby just won't take it straight, try mixing it with the baby's normal feeding or a diluted drink, I think you can, just make sure not to surpass Colic Calm's instructions which state --

  • 1/2 teaspoon and dispense slowly into mouth between cheek and gums. A measured dispenser such as the NumiMed that we offer (or the like) can also be used in place of the blue dropper to administer ColicCalm.
  • Each dose may be repeated once every 30 minutes for up to 3 doses, or as directed by a physician. Do not exceed 6 doses per day.

I doubt you will have much success putting it in the bottle since no matter how you try this the Colic Calm will be diluted, but it could be worth a shot if you are struggling with a colicky baby like I was!

The good thing is you can try it safely since the ingredients are all natural, have no side effects, and should be more than safe enough for your baby.
